Jazz Media / Content Day

Wild... would seem like he could get some decent money overseas.
Not everyone is built to be an overseas guy. I think certain kinds of people can thrive in that setting and others can't. IT's not like the most talented non-NBA Americans become the best overseas pros 100% of the time.

Sure but say he makes 300-400k a year… ain’t that better than just quitting. Hell even like half that is better than just giving up.

Yeah... that is pretty ****ing bunk. I get that maybe getting dog-housed the last two years despite putting in real effort can be a little demoralizing, but dude... if you think your work is ignored, thankless, and/or under-appreciated, try living in the real world where you can grind doing **** you hate and will be lucky to make 50k.

Non-Jazz Media Day Thing:

Supposedly Eric Paschall considered quitting basketball because no one was calling to sign him until the Wolves offered him the 2-way. Donovan motivated him not to give up.

Damn that kind of makes the thread you made even worse. Dude had some mental problems going on considering quitting and a random on an internet board is posting that you’re going overseas.

Good thing he has the money to afford a therapist.

You act like my thread was like "lol look at this loser going overseas". You are really just desperate to call me out for being wrong over anything. How do you have this much energy to ride me all day?

Sure, but I'm sure it's the ego hit.

The guys who succeed overseas are the dudes who are all in, not the ones who sulk over there. Sounds like if EP went over there it would have been with his tail in-between his legs. Going from 1st team all rookie to out of the league in that amount of time is probably a shock to the ego.

What? He's made $4M. Got to Europe for a few years and make another couple million. The sun only shines for a brief period of time. Gotta go make the money.

Take it for what its worth... Locke mentioned the over/under being 24.5... said the team he watched practice yesterday will be well over that. He oscillates between being a hype man and limiting expectations... so who knows.

Do we think Locke reads JF?

And maybe he's a STAR out there! I'm not sure how his combination of attributes translates over there, but the dude I saw last year + the fullback he was as a rookie = I think he could wreck fools out there.

Like, go on a ****ing hike and get on Wellbutrin then go have a great time and get paid.

Signed,

THT actually has a .1% higher assist rate over their respective careers and he's never actually played the nominal "PG" role. Plus he has real + defensive upside and I'm talking about a 2nd unit type lineup, not the starters.
I'm just not excited by anything THT related. I can get really excited by Sexton sharing the floor with Simone, Beasley, Lauri...

I am really afraid we are going to exceed expectations thereby f-ing ourselves in the a.

Or China... where you can play the season and then get an NBA deal at the end of the year after averaging 45 pts and 25 rebs per game.

China is not the place to go if you want back in the NBA. Nothing you do over there will be seen as beneficial for your game and you wont improve if your long-term goal is the NBA.

If you want to get paid and play in sold-out arenas? Go to China. You arent coming back to the NBA from there though.

Anywhere, really. But has anyone actually watched CBA games? It is, no exaggeration, the worst basketball I've ever seen. I'd love to play in that league.
