Andy Larsen and Checketts seem about as enthused about this whole "team 49" thing as the rest of us. Andy said the biggest difference between Hardy and Quin so far is that Hardy keeps things much closer to the vest, Quins answers to questions were much longer and more detailed. Another interesting difference is that Quin allowed the broadcasters to watch practice and at Hardy's practice today they weren't allowed to do so.

Andy's prediction for the starting lineup surprised me, he went with Conley/Sexton/Beasley/Vando/Olynyk. I have a hard time seeing Markkanen coming off the bench, but I guess we'll see.

I was looking for that 'White Guys' thread, but I'm noticing that the Jazz could realistically put out an All-FIBA lineup with Bolmaro, Fontecchio, Markkanen and Olynyk at the same time. Mix in the new unis and we could be in for some real off-beat optics.

We are going to miss Snyder a lot.
Sadly we are never going to get a better coach than him. Got to hope we can get better players

Also, for those bagging on the "Team 49" concept. Look again at the pics of the team on the Jazz twitter page. It's a bunch of strangers, including the head coach. (Pretty sure that video is of Markannen meeting Vanderbilt for the first time.) These guys don't know each other AT ALL. They need some kind of identity. Team 49 is an identity that god knows this team needs. I like it.

so admitting you were either 1) not fit or enough 2) too lazy in a year that was supposed to bring championship contention .. lol pretty damning comments Not gonna miss this dude at all
 
I heard that the failed rebrand is going to rebrand tomorrow using Smashing Pumpkins’ 1979.
