Russell Westbrook just landed in Utah

I’m assuming that they plan to buy him out, but he’s a prideful guy. I could see him wanting to prove everyone who thinks he can’t make it work here wrong. Plus, as much as the fans and he haven’t gotten along, the players are different. I’m sure there’s a few guys on the team that he already has connections with.
 
Count me in with the group who would love to see Westbrook play in a Jazz jersey. It would be so entertaining. Like part of me is starting to think all kinds of illogical thoughts, like what if Westbrook and Danny Ainge play chicken with eachother on his buy out and he plays a couple of games for us...

I haven't bought a sports jersey since Shandon Anderson, but I might have to get a huge number black Jazz Westbrook jersey to commemorate that.

Yall know he ain't even leaving his house... let alone going to the airport... he doesn't have to report. He will agree to a buyout shortly or be waived.
 
Did anybody else see the Jordan Clarkson tweet about vampires coming out to play last night? Or did I dream that. . . I don't; see evidence of it ANYWHERE.

Is it a smart decision to keep WB? Probably not, but as I said in the earlier thread it's actually not that different from keeping Conley. He probably helps this team a little more and serves as a vet presence that the players look up to....but probably better to just tank and give PT to younger players.

Is it an entertaining decision to keep WB? Absolutely!!! Let's go for a roller coaster ride.
 
We should start a media/social-media campaign to see at least one Russ game.
 
Tony Jones had: "Westbrook has expressed a willingness to play for the Jazz."
Ben Jones had: "Jazz say he's open to different roles."

Probably still just negotiating time with the Clippers, or maybe there are other offers. But sounds more than that.

Westbrook would definitely up the interest level for games the rest of the season, to put it mildly.
