I guarantee whoever replaces him is a corporate owned puppet. It’s a 100% guarantee because the corporate billionaire delegates are the only ones selecting them - cuz democracy. I’m excited to see if it can be a close race for second place between RFK jr and whatever dumbass the dem billionaires force into this race. Will it be the guy that ruined California or the woman that created a fednapping plot? Will it be the cackling hyena disaster of a VP with all the donations? Will it be the worst secretary of transportation probably in history with the non stop supply chain issues, the train derailment, Boeing disasters, collapsed bridges, where he has literally done nothing for anyone? I’ll be on the edge of my seat. So many great candidates!!

I want someone who can articulate the issues and kick Trump’s ***. Both Harris and Pete can do that. Pete is extremely good. Unfortunately, he’s gay. Unknown if a gay man can win in swing states. Also unknown if a black woman can win those too.
 
Certainly not too late for an effective ticket. With it, the relief of no Trump v. Biden, combined with the continued super hyperbolic “doom and gloom and lots of anger” from Trump, continued emphasis on Vance’s amazing shape shifting political suck up act, the Democrats can win an historic victory. Youthful, fwd. looking ticket, they continue with TrumpSpeak, aka stream of consciousness gibberish, we got this, as long as a great performance from the ticket assembled.

Probably Harris at the top. But maybe an open convention too. Got to happen with least amount of ego clashes, too much at stake in November.

They can demonstrate real democracy in action, compared to goose stepping behind Trump. And youth, lots of independents, and everybody but MAGA will be relieved.

Calls for Biden’s resignation growing as well…..
 
So who has been running our country for the past 3.5 years?! JFC.... Who's running our country right now? How scary that we currently have a guy in office that's incapable of doing anything.
 
@One Brow you owe me $100 btw. You remember in 2021 and you chastised me for calling Joe Biden braindead and you said it was his stutter that the media made up out of thin air not his decline in brain capacity. I put the onus on you for $100?
 
On second thought, it'll probably be Harris. Something to keep in mind is that, even with the debate fiasco, Biden outraised Trump in June and has pretty well been kicking his arse there. Assuming they can get someone to excite the base while appealing somewhat to the independent blocks (which Biden was having a hard time doing), it'll be interesting. If nothing else, the machine that Axelrod and Obama built is still impressive as hell.

If Biden left office it would give Kamala Harris a chance to do President stuff as a sort of an audition. Could be good. Could be bad.

Lol Kamala was one of the worst candidates in the history of the country. She did admit Joe Biden was a rapist at least.

I think the best ticket to beat trump would be whitmer for president and mayor Pete for vp
