2025 Playoffs Chat & Chill Thread

All of the national basketball podcasts I've listened to have severely underestimated Indy. Even after winning game one, a lot of people were saying OKC in 5. Indy has so many guys that can score the basketball, it's just hard to have a game plan, because you don't know who is going to go off on a given night.

Last night Indy played like it was a finals game and OKC played like it was a regular season game.

This looks like a 7 game series and I'm all for it.

I've seen this commentary a few times and have to agree that OKC looked tired in the fourth quarter. This was noticeable because I don't really remember them looking tired before.

Almost felt like a ***** in the armor. They aren't used to being outworked.

According to the experts on this board they were going to get swept or possibly win a game if they got lucky.
I applaud your prediction of a Pacer's finals victory. You should quote your prediction you made before the series started that the Pacers would win it all and bask in the glory!

If OKC loses the series I wonder if they make any drastic moves to improve the roster.
They will undoubtedly take a hard look at why they lost and make some adjustments, no doubt. But I would wager it would be more on the fringe looking at depth more than any kind of overhaul. But I would seriously doubt they just stand pat if they lose this series.

I dont really see how they can improve their role players. They are pretty much maxed out when it comes to role player quality.

The obvious upgrade is turning Chet into Giannis.

I mean sometimes it is OK to wait and see how things go down before loudly proclaiming an outcome. I still don't know if the Pacers win, but I do know that they aren't getting swept!
