This. They don't hurt the other guys and do help them in many ways offensively. Will still be a net negative. I think Hardy also needs to see what a 5 out offense is most likely going to look like unless you get a unicorn. Maybe he will appreciate having a traditional big that protects the paint?

I just don’t need 48 minutes of it….seems like a waste to punt on an opportunity to get a Hinkie special. IMO, open roster spot is as good or better than 2nd round pick.

If it were up to me, you can play 24 minutes of Nurk/Love, 12 minutes of GLeague revolving door (can be any type of C), and then 12 minutes of Flip/Hendricks at the 5.

I think the biggest wish list item for Hardy in a C is the dribble handoff/offensive hub stuff. But we should be open to other types of centers/players.

Maybe churn some two way guys. I don't think they will waive Love, Anderson, or Niang right now for various reasons. The only other small salary would be Svi...

Oh wait... I have decided we need to open up a roster spot if it means no more Svi.

I think we have a great opportunity to have a revolving door of GLeague centers. Plenty of playing time, and if someone sticks you can get them on a great contract.

But if you really believe in the vets=development stuff, hard to beat Nurk+Love. They are perfect system fits. 5 out, passing, offensive rebounding, no defense. Good for the tank too.

I had this same thought, but then I remembered that the Gleague is a waste land for centers. I think in general it's very difficult to find diamonds in the rough at the center position. Maybe Euroleague?

I mean he at least offers rim protection so players like Flip/Brice aren't getting eaten alive and driven to the rim every possession they are on the court
I just looked into Richaun Holmes, where one goes when they can't get a Plumlee, and it appears that he signed in Greece. So there goes my idea.

Just few names wouldn't mind seeing the jazz give some time to

Ibou Badji - 7' lead the gleague in clicks at 3.4 per

Jamarion sharpe - another gleaguer 7'5"

Brandon Carlsen - former Ute center

Dayron sharpe - not offered anything from the nets

Kai Jones - is a nut case but maybe the jazz can tame him.

I havent looked up any of these players to see if they are on 2ways ot under contract. Just spit balling
