Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Guys have never been better at improving as shooters. So long as the shot isn't like busted. I think Wilson will be fine from a shooting standpoint. The functional athleticism and length is pretty amazing.

The one dunk he did a decel, euro-step, and dunked off one foot pretty far from the hoop. He just kinda floats out there. I want to see what he does against real teams but yeah I think you can write his name in pencil in the top 5 right now.

I'm not sure about just assuming everyone is going to fine without a jumper, but Wilson moves extremely well and from what I saw he can handle too. He has some perimeter skills, just not 3 point shooting per say.

Also, he just looks like a defensive superstar and that is worth a lot on it's own.

I'm thinking more of a traditional big man version of Amen Thompson.

But the question is whether you can find a stretch 5 next to him.

He has hit several nice looking middies as aell

Pretty early to do this, but I'm fading Chris Cenac already. Does not look like a top 10 prospect.

interesting. i'm still in on Cenac. love the size, length and athleticism and the ability to make the three. it is hard to showcase yourself at houston and i sorta have to question any top frosh for going there, but he's looking pretty good early on and had a great game against auburn. harwell really struggling to get shots.

Things could change....but he's trending as a C prospect who doesn't get the rim, FT line, pass, or get stocks. Seems to have a nice middy and theoretical 3 point shot, but that's not enough for me. I've only watched highlights, but he doesn't look super athletic and is too much of a finesse player for my liking. Looks like Ayton with even less inside presence.

Ryan Dunn shooting 33% on 6 attempts per 100possessions as a complete non shooter in college is one data point. CMB starting the year off at 50% 3pt shooting is another data point. On the other hand Locke seems to have some data that shows that guys don't improve that much, but I'm kind of ignoring him for now when there are so many obvious examples of guys learning to shoot in the league.

So one interesting thing that I heard the Toronto broadcasters say is that it's easier to take a non shooter and teach him how to shoot 3's then a bad shooter. I guess the idea is that with a non shooter you are starting from scratch vs a bad shooter you are trying to correct stuff that's deeply habitual at that point. I'm not sure how much I buy that, but it's interesting to think about.

Cashiggy needs to get their act together and get me a Cenac video. I have no opinion currently.
