Fill in the blank

If we "hit" on Keyonte - he and Ace have plenty of the score first, alpha-dog mentality. Lauri just a perfect, highly efficient 2nd / 3rd option to complement them.

If we can get a top, top guy in this draft then hell yes you do it and let the chips fall where they may.

In terms of "fit" I kinda like Ament or Tounde. Project as super versatlie guys defensively, give you something offensively but won't need to dominate the ball, etc.

Tounde is awful.

If you fill in the blank with a guy who isn't a good ball handler (e.g. Dort, Grimes, Eason), then that puts a lot of pressure on Keyonte.

This is why a quality tank is so important this year. That blank needs to be a two-way player with handles.

Agreed, but from the draft you are basically only referring to Peterson.

I think we're going to need a superstar to really be a contender, unless Ace becomes that two way star. But in the non superstar division, I don't think it gets much better than Suggs. He has been ORL's best player when healthy this season, so he's probably in the "impossible to get" category unfortunately.

You could probably get Anthony Black and pray he learns how to shoot. ORL can't afford everyone.

Pie in the Sky Draft: Peterson

Pie in the Sky Free Agent: Reaves

Realistic Draft: Cameron Carr or Caleb Wilson (though Wilson might end up being the consensus #2 guy, so maybe pie in the sky also. Hopefully if the Jazz land at 3, people buy into the AJ hype and Wilson falls to the Jazz)

Realistic Free Agent: Quentin Grimes, Andrew Wiggins, Simone Fontecchio, Ayo Donsunmu, Tari Eason

For some reason I actually really like the idea of Andrew Wiggins

OKC is also going to have to make some decisions on who they pay. Cason Wallace would be awesome, but we're probably going to get fleeced in any kind of transaction with OKC.

Ideally we draft Peterson. I guess Ace could move to the 2 if we got Dybantsa or Boozer. I don't see how we get him, but I would still love Amen Thompson on the Jazz.

No idea.... I do think there is like a 30% chance maybe that Walker is not back.

I could see Ayo/Ellis if its a FA type addition. I could see Peterson/AJ if its a draft addition. I could also see a trade for Trae/Zion/Ball maybe shake things up.

I could also see a stopgap like Norman Powell, CJ McCollum in the vet mode. Zach Lavine if the Kings get desperate to dump him and give us something.

I guess I am most certain about Ace being here and then Lauri but I could see a move there too maybe. I think there are far too many balls in the air. Ace is pretty flexible positionally so I am not sure we are putting the finishing touches on something here.
