Keyonte George’s Star Ascension

No doubt Keyonte's offensive leap is massive. You can really see the impact of the added strength and muscle: last season he was bouncing off people when driving, this season people are bouncing off him. He just looks a lot more decisive when going to the basket, which gets you calls in the NBA. So many things depend on how you're perceived in the league. Key is a calmer, more confident player this season.

He's also improved his finishing through contact, which is super important.

Keyonte is a combo guard, so he has to find and maintain the balance between looking for his own shot and giving up the ball quickly when needed. So far he's done a surprisingly good job. I have no real complaints about his playmaking this year, which is a big change.

Overall, though, Key is still a one way player. He can occasionally motivate himself into playing good defense for a possession or two, but more often than not, his matador tendencies take over and he simply gives up on plays. Becoming an average defender is definitely his most important goal now.

Reaching that goal and improving his efficiency might make him a star.

Don't understand what Jazz may be doing right now
They cannot give that top 8 pick away under any circumstances
Why not? Oh no, they'll miss out on... "Taylor Hendricks / Cody Williams" or whoever the hell is available at 7 or wherever.

"Giving it away" would be stupid, but if the team wins because Keyonte in his third year scores 39, then so be it.
