Pretty sure if they pay what it's going to take to keep Kessler then they won't bring him off the bench though.
Boozer would be awesome against backups.

Any of the scenarios listed would be amazing. I feel really good about the jazz chances of being in the playoffs next season whether we keep our pick or not. I REALLY hope we keep our pick though

You trade Kessler (which will be much harder in the offseason which is a big reason to have moved off of him at the deadline)… or maybe even Boozer if you can get a metric ******** of the right stuff.

They bungled this WK situation tremendously. in keeping with that and that they obviously had no idea what they wanted to do (evidenced by them continuing to do nothing proactive on the matter), I would not be surprised that it ends in the worst case scenario.

But anyway, hopefully some good luck at least offsets or hopefully completely saves us on this issue.

I guess you maybe just re-sign Kessler no matter how painful and keep your eye on the market moving forward? Blech

Back then teams felt they needed a "true point guard" in order to be a competitive team. Teams would build their roster starting with a PG and an impactful big (preferably C). A lot of that has changed now.
