Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Surely I am about to jinx him, but Mullins is the guy I’d be buying a lot of stock of rn. I think he just had to shake off a slow start after returning from injury. Elite shooting + good lateral quickness and defensive hands.

Wrt Graves, I doubt he enters the draft. But his profile is so good he might get some calls from NBA teams to declare and be a first rounder. Santa Clara is #34 Kenpom ranked team. Their schedule is not great, but similar to some low end power conference teams. He is also a BPM riser against top50 and top100 comp.

Nate Ament's ability to play off the dribble and make decisions with the ball should make him a better overall prospect than Ace Bailey entering the draft. If Keyonte is the primary ball handler and Ament is the 2nd-side guy, the two should be able to play off of each other. He should be able to play from the middle of the floor and pass over the top of the defense to unlock Kessler, Jackson and Lauri, as well as take advantage of whatever space he has for himself. I'd like to see him process a bit faster, but he could get there with coaching and experience. Ament coming down the middle of the floor with NBA spacing is a real triple-threat at 6'9". He's a cerebral player. He just needs to keep showing more consistency shooting the ball.

Ament's last 5 games: 23 pts, 6 rebs, 2.6 asts, 50% 3P, 79% FT

I agree with your top 6. Gotta get top 6.
Most of these dudes I know nothing about but I like Carr

He's my favorite player in the draft. Unfortunately I think he goes 4th or 5th in the draft, which we have very little chance of getting that pick as of now.
Why do we have very little chance of drafting 4th or 5th? Aren't we at 6th currently? Are you thinking we are going to win too much?

My favorite (besides AJ who is my favorite due to BYU) is Wilson.
Seems like I would get a million ferocious dunks per season. Be like having prime shawn kemp or Dominique Wilkins

Ament's been playing his way back to 4th tier. It's just crazy how loaded this draft class is. Any other year Ament would be a top 5 prospect for sure.

The 6th best odds has a 0% chance at 5.

A sobering assessment of Wagler. They like him but see his nba comp as Podz.

Podz would be more like the NBA floor lol. One became the leading scorer on a 20-3 Illinois team in year one whereas the other couldn't crack the rotation of a 23-10 Illinois with a much weaker roster. Even though both are considered “unathletic” by NBA standards, Wagler is just much better at breaking down defense to get himself to the rim for easy looks and FTs(Wagler's FT rate is .560 compared to .311 for Podz) whereas Podz plays more stiff and has to force tough shots when he couldn't get open.

But honestly having Podz as your NBA comp isn't that bad of an outcome. We need a guy who could be effective both on and off the ball to complement Key.
