Random observations after looking over the stats for all Jazz players...

How do you figure?

Actually, thinking back on it it's probably a bit of hyperbole. But in general the guy was a sieve on defense. He didn't even try. Al may not be great, but he at least tries at interior defense and at times has caused problems for people in the paint. I'm not sure I ever saw Booze do that at all.

I love Jeremy Evans, he's my 2nd favorite player behind Deron. I think he can easily be groomed to take over a starting spot for AK at the 3 in a year or two and then he would grow into an even better version of the old AK that we all knew and loved.

While that would be awesome, AK at his peak is a pretty high ceiling. I love Evans, too. But I'm not holding my breath for him to turn into the old AK.

see why per isnt an absolute stat for a player greatness. by just watching the game with fes in there jazz seem to get more rebounds. sometimes he jumps en tips the rebound to a jazz player. but the epr does not acount for that.
or how about the intiimidation factor. like the flagrant foul. trust me some players especially the small lil ones like ceepee3 and other guards where intimidated no easy layups as fes showed

Actually, Jazz rebounding is the worst when Fes is on the floor.

azz have been at their worst on the defensive glass with Kyrylo Fesenko on the floor (57.9% def reb) (via basketballvalue.com)
