USA could cut military spending in half and the world wouldn't be much different. Other countries can afford government paid health care because universal government paid healthcare is cheaper.

Interesting OP. I do not agree that your employer portion is coming out of your pocket. Quite the opposite, you are getting that tax free, for free, and should be thankful for that.

I suppose there are probably some protests of some sort in most every country most every year. It just seems like they are happening more this year, but maybe not. Not sure how you can measure this.
