Key is basically the same player he was last year. That doesn't mean I don't like him and think he will get better but I have been disappointed with his lack of improvement to this point. There is a lot of season left though for him to get on track so hopefully it happens.
This is a tough season because from a win loss perspective it is going great. Unfortunately from a player development standpoint it has been a serious mixed bag. We lose Hendricks right away so no development there and maybe never with that bad of an injury. Cody has been about as bad of a...
My hope for Cody dies a little every game. The only glimmer of hope that I have is that since he is so damn skinny he should be able to get stronger over the next few years. I don't know if that will help but I'm grasping at straws at this point.
Yep. Bam is still a beast and with them no longer having championship aspirations this year I like the fact that he is working to expand his range a little bit.
I feel like the kings are the wild card team in a John Collins trade. They went all in this year and it has been a disaster to this point and they desperately need another quality big. Heurter and Lyles are a salary match and they have some future picks to work with.
I would give up a hell of a lot more for Whitmore than just Collins. Unfortunately the window for stealing him may have passed with injuries forcing him back into the rotation and him showing out. If his minutes disappear again once Eason is back then we should throw a strong offer at them.
I usually give youngsters plenty of rope when it comes to passing judgement and he just barely turned 20 but I don't think I have ever been less optimistic about a rookie as I am with him. What hurts even more though is seeing all the guys drafted after him that are showing some flashes of being...
That trade was a steal for the Hawks. Daniels is a defensive monster while making some nice progress offensively. The Jalen Johnson, Risacher and, Daniels trio has the makings of something special. At this point I'm not sure how Trae fits in but I don't think that decision will be made until at...
The good news is that there is a lot of season to go so if the record gets bad enough over the next month then there will be a clear mandate from the front office to stop messing around and give all these youngsters minutes over vets with no future hear.
That's the point. They are able to reload on the cheap through the draft and then eventually trade guys coming up for extension for future assets while having the next guys ready to step in. Presti has put together an asset building machine that I don't think will slowdown anytime soon which...
Damn I love this draft. The only downside of this draft being so damn good is that it sets up the thunder to really pull away against the rest of the league. They have potentially 3 picks in this draft and the clippers and sixers picks could be lottery or just outside the lottery.
That is crazy quick to punt on a kid that hasn't even gotten run in the nba but played really well in the gleague last year. Back injuries can be a bitch though so maybe it robbed him of some athleticism and they don't believe he will get it back.
Big difference between judge and talking about a guys potential. Judge is far more of a hard line which shouldn't be taken a couple games into the season.
