And to Franklin and others, I congratulate Kanter on his disregard for the condescending advice of our crappy vets. The FO says they want nasty, and they want some leaders. This is a first step. Gordon and Favors have continuously been deferring to the vets. Kanter has shown that he can be taught. He has absorbed the teachings of Big Al and Malone, but part of being a leader is being able to make up your mind even when someone outranks you. RJ talking to Kanter about defense is disingenuous. Now I'm not saying Kanter is the right person to lead us, but him not taking **** and blame from someone who is equally at fault for the team's defense is a strength, not a weakness. RJ is a joke.

Listen to Kanter at the podium where he says how he thinks you need both.

Based on percentage or 3PT FG's made?

While 123 of 301 FG3 for 40.9% is certainly good, RJ is not even close to being the top 3-PT shooter in the league on whatever measurement you choose. Curry made the most 3PT FG's (261/615) and also had a higher percentage at 42.4%. I think 123 makes ties RJ for 41st in the league.

Not sure how many 3PT attempts it takes to qualify for the percentage award, but looking down the list I see Korver at 47.2% on 185/392. Of the players that had at least 100 makes. RJ is not in the top-10 in terms of 3PT%.

1. How many games did Kanter start.
2. How many of those games were with JLIII and Jamaal Tinsley as the PG's?
3. Of the remaining games Kanter started, how many were due to Favors being out?
3a. Conversely, what percentage of games that Favors started did he have Kanter as a backup.

It's simply amazing how many people like franklin and Locke can pick and choose stats (and sometimes get them completely wrong) without factoring in other VERY relevant and important considerations. Bottom line is the Jazz only won 25 games so EVERY single player on this team MUST go. They've proven themselves to be LOSERS. Records don't lie.

So what did Kanter say that was so bad? I guess you forgot the annual Karl Malone complaining fest. Seriously, some Jazz fans think Jazz players should be robots and fit this idea of what a Jazz player should be or how they should act. Every player is different that doesn't make it a bad thing. Kanter has a right to express his honest opinion since some one is asking him what he thinks. People forget Kanter is what 21 years old. He is still a kid. I am sure it has been hard for him sitting on the bench waiting his turn. Gobert was bitching about it and he was a rookie so how do you think Kanter feels. There is not a player on this team who can't vastly improve their defense. The Jazz were ranked 30th in defense. Even Favors who is suppose to be a defensive specialists gets owned. People are trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

What he states was the obvious... He expected to play more. All others picked in the top 10 have played more.

Jazz management shouldn't be angry over that. Kanter wasn't demanding a trade or for anyone to be fired. Really, I think we are making a mountain of a moe hill.

Looks like franklin has disappeared from this thread after I called him out for the disinformation he posted on Jefferson. What say you, franklin; are you man enough to admit your statement about Jefferson was a complete falsehood?

Since this is Friday afternoon thru Saturday I think it's reasonable to assume that maybe he is just busy.
