Awesome! My wife thinks I'm crazy when I tell her that the start of NBA season is like Christmas to me, but it is. It was cool to have that literally be the case last year.

Memo's 13 probably comes from FIBA jersey # rules. In FIBA, jersey numbers start from 4 to 15. That's for refs for not confusing the pointer signs 1-2-3 pts with the player's number. NBA was like that once if I'm not mistaken. NCAA is limited to 55.
Memo and the other centers usually wore the 13 jersey, I don't know where it comes from, it maybe about the position (we call it pivot) but I always saw centers wearing 13. Even my dad who played back in '68.

Last season.......
13 teams finished with better records than the jazz.
Devin Harris had 13 blocks.
He also averaged 13 pts per game in the playoffs.
In the playoffs Enes averaged 13 rebounds per 36 minutes.
But in the regular season Enes averaged about 13 minutes per game.
So did Jamal Tinsley.
In their 13th Game the Jazz beat the LAC. Al Jefferson had 13 rebounds.
Gordon Hayward didn't record his 13th rebound until the jazz's 6th game.
In game 17 Hayward got his 13th block in Dallas, in a game where Milsap shot 13 times and scored 20 pts, but the Jazz lost.
Milsap had back to back games of 13 rebounds agains the Lakers and Knicks last february.
Also in February the Jazz Beat the memphis Grizzlies to avoid their record going to 13-13, in the game the Jazz shot 13 fts, 13 3pta, had 13 offensive rebounds and 13 turnovers.
