May be Lindsey is wanting to get some assets back by trading Jefferson and Marvin at the trade deadline (i.e., to a contender), hence the green light to play them big minutes earlier in the season.

Pretty sure Lindsey has something brewing....

I think there is a trade brewing, and I would expect it anytime between now and the trade deadline.

Two decently playing veteren contracts are pretty perfect for trading, but what gives you the impression that there is a trade brewing?

Also.... if they are traded at the deadline, I would love to see both of those guys signed back by the Jazz in the offseason, obviously with smaller contracts and sixth man roles.

I think more than anything, I just want a trade. I think Lindsay wont let us down, he is the professional tank architect. It's gonna happen.

Yeah that is true. I just hope none of the youngs get traded in the debacle as well.
B. Rush hasn't been given an appropriate shot either.

I think trading out Jefferson and Williams along with giving Lucas, Biedrins, Kanter and Harris decent minutes will go far in furthering the tank.

A line up of Kanter, Biedrins, Harris, Burks and Lucas would routinely dig a whole for the starters.

That's actually a pretty decent lineup defensively.
Offensively it provides almost nothing outside of Kanter and Burks, which furthers the tank.
You forgot about B. Rush though brah!

Dude still hasn't been given any time.

Fine. Plug him in over Burks.

Also the may be OK defensively but not good enough to slow down good players. The goal is to lose games and they will.

I do like your new "losing is the way to go" personality Stoked, but don't you still enjoy watching the Jazz compete and beat the bad teams as well?

I love watching the Jazz and am thrilled with good performances. The end result sucks as it threatens our future.

This is how i feel....... i find myself enjoying these amazing performances from burks, burke and hayward (all 30 pt games) and the consistent good play of favors.
But then when we win i am not happy about the result despite enjoying watching the games.

Oh and i absolutely LOATHE whenever one of the vets that are in a contract year play well..... I hope that they miss everytime that they shoot
