The guy who I see dropping is Randle. He has no right hand and has games where he is completely invisible for a half.
It's OK guys, we were "meant to" win some games during the "East Coast" trip... no biggie.. normal programming will resume soon enough.
Yup. I need a 5 game losing streak to cheer me up.
I'd prefer a 15 game losing streak.
it's too early. if randle goes crazy in march then what? taking young UK to the finals? and if wiggins struggle badly in march then what?
embiid is the x-factor
he has emerged and he is moving up. hype can only get you so far. scouts actually do watch them play. it's all about play on the court because all of these guys have tremendous potential.
jabari parker = pretty much lock top 3. i don't care how poorly he may play in march, he is still the safest bet
randle = he was top 3 early in the season. his stock fluctuates. with strong march and strong nba 'combine' he is a strong top 3
wiggins = he was a lock #1 early in the season. but parker's strong play and wiggins lack of production has created many doubters. He can go as high as #1, but can fall all the way to #4.
embiid = is he hakeem? is he mutumbo? is he thabeet? regardless of what he becomes you can't teach 7fter with long arms and good enough athleticism. he has shown enough skill sets early in the season. He is still raw in my eyes, but potential on this guy is tremendous. if he continues make a good impression and show his skill sets, i can honestly see him going #2 right behind parker. guys like this is a hit or miss, but just look at the past history. there will always be a team who gambles on a guy with tremendous size especially in this centerless league.
so yes, wiggins is not a lock top 3. at least not in my eyes.
Back when we did the Power Tankings, I think I was the only one who ranked Philly #1. Well, here's a stat for you. The 76ers have lost 17 games in a row that were decided in regulation.
So jealous of their tank.
