The Bucks are up 9 on the Lakers in LA at the half. May as well concede a top 2 pick to them, especially if they dump Gasol.
Me and spycam were talkin about clevelands recent picks during the jazz game last night
Waiters at #3 iirc when he wasn't mocked anywhere near there I don't think.
Tristan Thompson also at 3 I think and that was a pretty big reach.
Anthony bennet at #1, they have no idea what they are doing.
Irving was the right guy at #1 but he was also a no brainer pick
Both Waiters and Thompson were selected at the 4th slot.

Ya I couldn't remember..... reaches either way
That is true. Still I like Thompson personality, attitude and skillset wise. He's just hard to pair with another inside player as his midrange game develops very slowly. He'd be a guy that I'd trade down for for future draft considerations.
But look at the recent trends. Now that the schedule has lightened up, the Jazz are playing .400-.500 ball. There are many teams sliding back to Utah that got off to surprising starts. Jazz will finish around 8th. Book it!Guys... so the only teams in front of us are the Bucks (who just got Sanders back), Philly and NY (no incentive to tank)???
If I were Lindsey I would feel like we're doing pretty well tanking...
