14th Tank Platoon

Detroit has a tough schedule too if you look at home vs. away games left.
Pelicans more favorable in that respect than Utah, but they're not even trying anymore. At least their next two are at Sacramento and the Lakers, so that will help whichever way those games end up. If NO doesn't put some distance on Utah in March, they'll finish with a worse record; they could/should go 0-for-April.

Where would that place them in the lottery? They are kind of treading dangerous waters if they don't get a top 5 pick with it going to the 76ers.

I know I'm going to take some flak for the following, but:
This offseason Dwayne Casey is available...Ujiri Masai is reportedly looking for a different guy leading from the sideline.
As the Raptors have a ton of early games for my timezone I wach them very often. I really like some of his offensive principles.
Especially the ones when the ball comes closer to the basket his concept instead of letting his wings in a dead angle move around the perimeter to have them slash in the paint which results in a lot of bunnys after handoffs and drop offs.
Some defensive help rotations are kind of meh IMO but that might be on some of the guys that create confusion in their middle as their defensive numbers since trading Gay have been pretty good as far as I remember(I really hope my memory doesn't trick me here)

If the raptors don't want him, he's probably decent.

Utah is currently in 8th. Of the EC teams, only Cleveland (or Atlanta or Charlotte depending on who grabs the #8 seed) seems like a lock to finish better than Utah. Slide ahead of Detroit, New Orleans and Denver and Utah could potentially finish with the 11th pick.

I may update the home/away and SOS chart I posted about 1 week ago. Will see if I have time tonight.

Phoenix put up 79 points on Atlanta in the first half. Hawks really missing that Millsap "D" (looks like he's out for this game).

Unfortunately Dallas lost at SA. Memphis still has to make up 2 games on GS. W's with a home-friendly schedule while Grizzlies have 6 more away than home. Going to be difficult.

I meant about NO. Their only real incentive to tank is if their pick is top 5 therefore they get to keep it instead of giving it to the 76ers.

I thought the New Orleans pick was only top 3 protected. If that's the case (and even top 5) they have zero incentive to tank. Not getting that low unless they win the lottery.

It's top 5 protected. They're 3 games back of that position so not impossible if they lose nearly every game (like they have been). If I'm their GM, I would like my odds of that over making the playoffs.
