14th Tank Platoon

Great run of results so far, but you just know that we`re gonna beat the Lakers in the penultimate game to move from 4th to 6th in the lottery.

Looking at the schedule, it looks very likely that we will finish either 4th or 5th. Boston are playing well and have 2 games left against Philly. Sacramento are two games ahead and are playing Milwaukee and the Lakers. Detroit are playing both Philly and Milwaukee and are not losing out. I can`t see us winning less than two games, and we will also likely beat the Lakers and probably one more home game. It basically comes down to the Lakers game; lose that and we finish 4th. Win it and we`re fifth, or maybe even 6th if one of the other teams really hits rock bottom.

I've been surprised at how far we've come this year. I wouldn't totally rule out the Lakers loss, tbh.

So Orlando has this tank thing down, I'm certain that Vaugn is on board with the tank and is making deliberate moves to lose. It's sad that the jazz have a coach that is trying (or is he ????)and the results are about the same.

Also, I'm imaging a 76ers v Magic game as a spoof film, like Scary movie or Airplane where the dueling teams try to out do each other to lose, all while pretending to play to win but convincing no one.

Jacque Vaughn trips Jameer Nelson as he dribbles past. Varnando scores 2 baskets so Hinckle spills water on the floor in front of him causing a fall. Violet Palmer throws up a jump ball, but Sims and Vucivic just stand there looking at each other

And yet they're both winning about the same amount. LOL.

Wow Corbin really sucks

I'm just saying it's management that's to blame for sticking to Corbin. If you wanna rebuild tell the players who's going to be your coach for the next 3 years. Even if it costs you 2 millions to let Corbin file daily reports it's better for your team. If you have someone on a 3 or 4 year contract you can approach him late when the playoffs are gone and say you wanna take a better look at Gobert, Clark and whoever you wanna see get more burn. And then you can bottom out late in the season.
The players knew Corbin was coaching for a contract and apparently they weren't too excited to see his face longer. Else we would have seen more intensity on the defensive end throughout the season.

We always get overly excited after a series of road losses. I hate to be Debbie Downer, but Utah has some EASY games left, too. And the Jazz, despite their bad losses on the road, have also won against some very good teams at the ESA. Jazz should be favorites to win AT HOME against Orlando, Detroit, LAL and probably New York and New Orleans. Also wouldn't count out a win coming against Portland or Memphis or even Dallas at home. Less likely, but not implausible is stealing a game on the road at New Orleans, Denver or Minnesota.

In short, yes...I'm thrilled with the Boston victory over Miami and the Sacramento victory over Washington. But don't count those superstars before they're hatched.
