What's new

1982-83

That was also the year they changed the spelling of moran to moron.
I'm glad we're getting back to our roots.

I see your moron and raise ye, in 30 years hence, the great change from owned to pwned. I too will look back and speak of the pre-2003 period quite romantically after we finally go back to that great olde spelling.

Can't we all just get along!

Don't make me want to cuts your nuts off too, Morecuss.

Sorry, my mistake.

I forgot about the luscious incoming personnel of Shawn Marion, Tracey McGrady, and Sam Dalembert or other various slugs coveted by the resident in the annual jazzfanz gmintrainings circle jerk sessions.

Good god, Jeff Van Gundy. The coach who ran an offense with Yao Ming setting screens at the 3 pt line. A regular Red Auerbach on Round Ball.

This is paradise. It is just what jazzfanz posters wanted, no boozer, no Okur, no AK, and no Sloan. We have King Deron and his Minyans. Milsap replacing Boozer, a better shot blocking center in Jefferson, full time CJ, and plenty of time to develop the young players, and no AK loafing around.

Isn't this what everybody has wanted for the last several years?

The beauty of the current situation is it now shows in living color how stupid 95% of the fans really are and how little they know about basketball.

Now we want to work some magical trades with total dog crap to offer other teams and long for the days of Wes Mathews.

Fools.

*minions

Ricky Green's stats that year: 14.3 PPG on 49% shooting, 8.9 APG, 2.8 SPG. Pretty amazing. It's too bad they lost Dantley to injury.

I know this may be a bit of a stretch as the song has been covered and re-released numerous times but it fits the subject matter too well.

One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer was also re-released this year on the album "Live In Boston, 1982" by George Thorogood And The Destroyers.

I honestly don't know how I knew or remembered this but that's my brain a bunch of random useless crap that occasionally surfaces.
