You guys seem to forget how good Ed Davis is defensively.
He was #2 in DRPM among centers throughout 81 games last season.
His offense will never be good but he'll start defending and rebounding at an elite level eventually.

That was last year, there is no guarantee that he will do that this year, even before the injury , he hasn't

Unfortunately he can't and he won't because he couldn't before ....

Only trading pieces we've got are Bojan and Ed. But unfortunately due to Bojan's lengthy contract we will likely get less in return than what Bojan currently offers on the table.

Joe you can't trade him this year. Not any nore.

And Dante you would have to package him with draft picks just so other teams is willing to take on his garbage contract. Dante currently holds negative trade value.

No he won't. Even Rudy's defensive stats decline from last season and there is a reason for that. You can't be expected to guard everything in the entire paint just by yourself. Crowder and Favs both possess the physicality to cover down when Rudy is drawn out of the paint. We don't have anyone like that any more. Unless you pair Ed along with Rudy, but then our offense would suck bad.
