2011 draft.....

After tonights world game it might be looking like if we want this Biyongoongo kid we'll have to take him with our first lottery pick.

Bismack had 12 and 11. You wanna draft him with the Jazz first lottery pick?

He had 12 points and 11 rebounds, true, but the point is he had 10 blocks... first triple-double ever for Hoops Summit. My guess is he will be ready at the 12th pick. He's only 6'9" but with a 7'7" wingspan, a 9'3" standing reach and exceptional athleticism, he can play center in the NBA. I would not mind picking him with the 12th pick.

Brandon Wright at No.6 and Biyombo at No.12 will be considered a good draft.

Brandon Knight at No.6 and Biyombo at No.12 will be considered a good draft.

Knight, not Wright... what was I thinking?

Errrrrrr...losing! Horrible, far better players at 12. Let someone else fall in love with him.

I thought one of the knocks on PJones (besides his questionable motor) was his almost complete ineptitude as a rebounder for his height and athleticism.

(I could be mistaken)

You're not. Dude does not have it upstairs or inside him. I don't want anything to do with the inevitable headache that kid is going to bring.

I admit I know next to nothing about Bismark. When someone praised what he did at the summit last night I quickly checked but all it said was 12 and 11. It didn't mention 10 BLOCKS. That is impressive. I dunno. I didn't watch the game last night, but it seemed like those who did catch it were really impressed.

with biyombo, the age questions are a bit worrisome. I mean, if he's really 25 then his stock would probably drop 10+ spots. But, it's hard not to be totally stunned by his athleticism. If he can be Ben Wallace for even just 7 years, then he's totally worth the 12-16 pick, IMO.

Very well put. And as draftexpress tweeted, Sene couldn't get off the bench on the worst team in Belgium, Biyombo was immediately getting significant minutes on one of the best non-NBA teams in the world.
