But getting both Barnes and Kanter seems too good to be true. Might get one of them with the Jersey pick. And Jimmer with the second pick would be nice consolation prize. Things looks good. The Jazz are doing their part. Now if only Jersey would go back to losing games.

Oh yeah, I didn't mean to say that we would get both Barnes and Kanter. I meant either Barnes or Kanter, obviously there's no chance that we get both of them. Hell, there's a decent chance we get neither of them.
 
Am I the only one who doesn't see a single franchise player in this draft? There is not a single "can't miss" prospect. IMO we should shop our picks for someone(s) more proven. At least shop one of them.
 
I still think that Terrence Jones will have a better pro career than Barnes, because Jones is quicker and more athletic. Jones still needs to put it together though.

Everyone thinks Irving is can't-miss.
Derrick Williams sure looks like a 20 pt. scorer to me.
Kanter looks like a steady double double.
Terrence Jones is the kind of guy who would have gone lottery out of high school.
Barnes is a safe pick.....has anyone compared him to Luol Deng yet?

I'd be chipper with any of these. If we could get two of them, we'd really be in business.

Terrence Jones has horrible shooting mechanics. He is strong as a bull but I haven't seen him jump out of the gym yet. Matter of fact he has had several shots block taking it to the basket. Harris already has a professional jumpshot. Harris needs to work on his body but he has the skills to make jumpshots which is huge in the NBA.

And some of you think this is our savior? Against such elite defenders as Singler and other white boys from dukie university? The same school that has brought us such devastating players such as Boozer, Danny Ferry, and Jay Williams?

Then again, he'd fit right in with CJ, AK, and Raja. He bricked a ton of jumpshots in the first half which helped bury his team, is continually chucking away as his team falls behind by double digits, and isn't playing a lick of defense.

Yes. Get us Barnes. He alone will prevent us from being in the lottery again next year. He will own Kobe and Lebron and we'll win the NBA championship next year. for sure...

Your hyperbole is so tiring, and not funny at all. Plus, who would listen to your draft advice? Even after two name changes everyone still remembers.

Defend your boy.

You point the finger at me, I'm calling your boy out. Defend him. I want to know why the Jazz should draft this guy. Sure, he had a great game a night ago, dumping 40. Today? an equally horrible game. Defend your boy. If he can't score on Singler, what makes you think he can score on NBA players?
 
Thriller, you are beyond dumb if you don't think Barnes will be a special player. He has single handily carried the UNC team over the past couple weeks. Hitting clutch shots and blossoming as a young player. Listen to every announcer, they all just talk and talk about how special Barnes is and how much better he will be in the future. After all, he is just a freshman. He still finished with 16 points. The thing I love about him is he doesn't have an attitude and is very coachable.

If he isn't a solid player in the NBA you can rip me all you want
