2011 draft.....

I think 5 years down the line we'll be looking at Knight as the good NBA starter, and Jimmer as the good backup energy player(scoring).

I'm ok with Jimmer at 12 because it looks like his shooting will translate. Having that punch off the bench will be nice. We can even play
Jimmer together with Harris, and it will be a lot better to watch that when Price was playing the 2.

My point is that there is a gap between Jimmer and Knight. Sure maybe neither is all-star bound, but I think only
one will be starting in 5 years.
 
Realistically, right now #3 is between Kanter and Knight with the Jazz leaning towards Kanter as BPA at the moment, and at #12 whoever falls to the, between Jimmer and Kemba will be the choice, if somehow neither are there nobody really knows who the pick will be.

A draft of Kanter and a PG @12 > Knight and a PG @12. IMO.
 
I don't care which one of the top 3 the Jazz get but I don't want them to pass on Irving, Williams or Kanter if they are available. I don't think I would trade down unless the Jazz are not in love with any of the top three and they have a specific targeted player not in the top 3. If this is the case then they need to drop down and get more assets if possible. However, the deal has to be really good to do this.

At 12, my hope is to get a decent role player to fill out the roster at SG/SF/PG.

There may be a few more athletic players ahead of him, but this is a weak draft, and Jimmer plays with heart. Look at those dirty rotten Lakers. Had they played with heart, they would be champs again. Five years from now we will be lucky to remember a handful of this years rookies. Jimmer will be one of them.

He went on to say that at #12 if The Jimmer is there, they will not pass on him. So according to his updated mock he has us getting Kanter & Jimmer (is there any way we can lock this in?) Not sure how much credible info he's getting, but if it is just a theory on his part it is a pretty logical one. He mentioned that the draft is all about getting value. According to him Knight, Walker & Jimmer are all relatively close as far as PG's, and one of them, possibly even two (most likely Jimmer & Walker) could still be there at 12. BTW his mock now has Kemba at 13. So if the Jazz are confident that at least one of the three are there at 12, why waste the #3 on one of them? Anyways I hope this happens as I wish the Jazz will go big with their first pick and then they can go small with their 2nd.

Finally Feldman admits his Walker rumor was bogus, he was pretty stubborn on that. A Kanter/Jimmer draft is looking likely. Will have to wait for a SF next year, so AK could be resigned I think.
