I guess a little in my defense, I'm not thinking Jimmer and a Euro, I'm thinking BPA with the 6/7ish and euro with the second. We need talent, yes, but should we try and manufacture some where none exists? I'd LOVE to have 2 über talented lottery picks but, imo, that isn't going to come to fruition.
So what I'm saying is lets not force the issue by having Hayward, Favors and Evans fight for time with another two rookies. None of the current rookies have a solid foundation at this point so there are growth stunting possibilities by mixing in two new guys that will likely have both A) demand for minutes because of being lottery guys and B) the expectations that come with that.
My order of scenarios would be:
1) get 2 guys with very low bust potential, Irving/Dwill2 types or again, one of the guys that seems to wow in workouts every year. This is obviously VERY unlikely where we pick.
2) package the picks if we target one guy, ala Dwill trade. Love this scenario as its much more likely than 1.
3) trade either one or both picks for a starter at the wing.
4) Darft bpa and then a euro to stash.
5) Darft two projects from the list people love like: Barnes, Burks, Smith, Knight, Hamilton etc. There's a good chance one of these guys will turn out, but two? Having one project I can stomach, but two project guys with hi bust potential and average to above average at best ceilings is stupid, IMO.
So, yeah, taking a euro and stashing is one option away from the bottom. I should have clarified.
