2011 draft.....

^^This. Kemba has so much more potential than Jimmer. He is younger, more athletic, really quick, actually plays some D, rebounds the ball very well for a PG. They both can create their own shots, Jimmer is a better shooter but when Jimmer can't shoot his game is limited. It will be an interesting debate going forward but I think Kemba will be a better pro

I've seen the highlights and find them totally unimpressive. Like you said, he seems a finished product, and against far inferior talent in some euro white stiffs, he seems to really have to exert himself to grab the boards. What's going to happen when he faces worldy athletes in the NBA? In some respects, he does remind me of Love, like you said. But the collegiate Love. And one difference, in my opinion, is that Love can actually jump a little. More importantly, he came from NBA genes, knew how hard he had to work to become somebody in this league and did that in spades. He worked his *** off to lose weight and lower his body fat. He worked on his shooting big time. And so on. And dude still sucks on d. I see Kanter being a poor man's Love at best. And with the #6 pick, there's no way i can live with that. With the #12 pick, sure. But to get a guy who has no upside and appears to have no starter potential (in my opinion) is a complete waste of a pick. These are just my own thoughts based on his highlights of course.
You are saying like this draft is full of Lebrons

I really like Chandler Parsons from Florida after seeing him play BYU in the tourney. Parsons is a really long tall shooter at 6'10" and can hit the 3. Playing Parsons along with Hayward would be a great duo at the wings and make us really long at those positions and plus now seeing Hayward improve hit shot, we could have some deadly shooters. The Jazz could probablly trade back to get Chandler Parsons between picks 15 to 22.

Oh geez. I LOVE Nolan Smith but he's a steady leader with solid skills, nothing more. He's not worth a lottery pick.

Nowhere in that quote did you hear me say that Nolan Smith is a lottery pick. He's not, I've said that earlier in this thread. But I do like him more than Brandon Knight.

What the Jazz need is a smart unselfish point guard, and Nolan Smith might be that...being a Senior and deferring his natural position to a Freshman.

I really like that point guard out of Saint Mary's Mickey McConnell, average 6 assists this season with a prior season average of 5. Mickey shoots 88% this season from the free throw line and 45.6% from 3, averaging 2.3 made 3's of 5 attempts. So this kid can shoot because 6 assists is high in college ball. Plus Mickey is from Mesa, AZ so he would be more prone to stay in Utah and also we could probablly sneak him out of the 2nd round or late 1st if we really like him, I see alot of a former Jazz point guard in him almost the same size but a better pure shooter. (Not to forget he come from the same NCAA Conference John Stockton played in...hmmm) ;)

Wait, so Kanter is a finished product based on the highlights you seen of him at 17 years old? Are euro years like dog years? Is it he's really 34...?
