Who in the draft even look half as good as dirk?
How many people at the time thought Dirk was even going to be close as good. Dallas got him for the late Tractor Traylor so perhaps the 12th pick is worth a gamble. Granted right now the only Euro worth a lottery pick that will be available is Donatas. Now if Vesely somehow slips he would be a no brainer at 12.

Wow, you just made a horrible argument. Koufos was picked in the 20s (not to mention the fact he is from Ohio). Fes was picked in the second round same with Tomic. None of these guys have the talent that Donatas or Vesely does. That Kirilenko guy who was picked turned out quite well. You realize how many American players have busted in the first round that we drafted right?

More european players have been busts that were drafted.
I think his talent is somewhere between Josh Howard and Nick Young. Third option scorer or offense off the bench. Would rather have him at SG then CJ Miles. Not a scrub.
The question is how willing a passer is he and how he fits in a team concept. Not sure if he'll become a "tough" player or if he's all finesse. I still think his resume is as good as Alec Burks, but he gets criticized for being a senior.

Vesely could be half as good as Dirk. Montiejunas looks too slow.
