I will be disappointed if he doesn't get about 58% fg, 15 rebounds 21 points, and 3.3 blocks per game. (see Valuncunias current FIBA averages)

valanciunas is playing against very amateur players. Enes will play in a very high level competition, so you cant compare. Anyway Valanciunas will also play for Lithuania in the tourney, if you want to compare so much, you can compare the two in the same tourney, but i think Valanciunas will get more mins due to lack of talented big man in lithuania.

What do you think Enes' tourney averages are going to be?

i dont think he will get too many mins if Semih and Omer will be healthy. But i think he can make 10 pts 8 rebs in aprrox 15 min.

i realize. Mine was a joke that he will do slightly better than gasol's and gortat's best numbers. I saw enes play enough that i don't need to be further convinced, though i'd love to see him doinate.

Or is it because he is better? Kidding! Think both will be very good NBA players. Turkey has a lot of big men that will be in front of Kanter in the rotation. So dont expect to see him play a lot except for in blowouts. Their roster is out. There are 4 NBA forwards/centers on the team plus some good players o European/Turkish teams.

its not the same logic at all, in Turkey there are more ready players than Kanter to compete, and its a tourney in a short period of time so they need urgent contribution. But in utah Enes at some point has to take major mins if he will prove he is a quality 3rd pick. NBA season lasts 1 year but euro basket 2 weeks
