How can one argue otherwise once the lakers overtake us and we miss the playoffs? March is hella tough and we suck on the road. This season is quickly crashing before our eyes.
2011-2012 was also a waste. Two full seasons of watching most of the minutes go to *****y players that won't even be on the team next year. All for, best-case scenario, two first round *** kickings.
Again, we were stuck with Big Al's bloated contract that we got when we were "trying to win it" with DWill.
These 2 seasons were decent enough to help pay for his contract. Now that he'll be gone in Summer, we can look towards the future with draft picks & cap space.
We're on track.
29 teams out of 30 waste the season every year by your guys definition.
But in the post you quoted, part of the complaint was the minutes going to ****ty players that wont be on the team next year. So while you may be right about being stuck with jeffys contract, ty corbin still could have chosen to play him alot less and in different ways

I think Ty seriously thinks we have a better chance at winning with Al on the floor.
Call me crazy, but I don't think that's an impossibility.

do you think its just ty who thinks that, solely his decision? he is the highest paid player on the team
2011-2013
wasted years

I definately think corbin believes that..... doesn't change the fact that he could have played jeffy less.
I think corbin does alot of dumb stuff with his rotations, but he doesn't have to, he chooses to.
You were acting as if just because we are stuck with jeffys big contract, nothing could have been done to change the last 2 years..... i say corbin could have played jeffy less.
Well if Greg gives him an order to win every games possible. And Ty thinks the best way to do that is play Jeffy as much as possible. Then it follows that he would do just that.
Again, im not argueing against you...... this thread is about the fact that the last 2 seasons were lame and wastes..... Im just saying that if jeffy could not have been traded, then ty should have played him less imo.
I understand that ty wouldn't do that (its obvious since we have watched the last 2 years), im just saying that playing jeffy less is something that COULD have been done in order to develop the youth more and salvage something from the last 2 years.
In other words, just let me cry over my spilt milk... damn

Again, we were stuck with Big Al. We needed to pay the bills somehow, the best way was to try and win, shoot for the playoffs, etc.
Next year we're free as a bird.
