2013 Free Agency Manifesto

Pretty cool, but a little confusing. Isaiah Thomas and Greivis Vasquez aren't free agents.[h=1][/h]

Never met the guy, but based off of interviews I'm pretty certain that Locke is (one of) the biggest tool employed to an NBA team.

Why is Hayward refused for consideration at SG? Or is saying we need a starting SG a disingenuous way of trying to get us to think Foye is a good idea?

I'm pretty sure Locke put this together. It's pretty neat and potentially very helpful to any of you.

One thing that I think is weird that he put down was that the Jazz need a starting SG and C. :\ Also that we need a starting and backup PG. I don't know if he made it before or after the draft but those are some strange things to me...
Guess the Jazz aren't convinced Kanter is ready - or will be healthy enough - to be the starting 5. As for a SG. Locke has probably penciled in Hayward at SF, since he primarily rotated with Marvin at that position last year. And neither Corbin nor Lindsey appear to have much confidence in Burks, at least as anything more than a backup. My guess is Foye comes back as the starting SG.

Lemme Tell you somethin. Lemme tell you why, is because these coaches, and these officemen and these David Locke tools can't "Think Outside The Box". They won't allow this team to be our burger king. They won't listen to "The Fan" because ole Jer once said "if we listen to the fans we'll be the ones in the seats." isn't PKM a fan? He just undermined half of the general population.

Now Karl Malone? Karl Malone think outside the box. Why ain't this guy coachin us yet? Because we still have company men with their lips gorilla glued to Ty the stys ***! What type of coach needs/geta special services to help him coach? What?

Good hell. Vampire Corbin has turned another poster.

From the spreadsheet, here is the perfect team based assumption at the top of the page: the new CBA theory of 3 players for $40M or 4 for $45.
.
Randolph (18) Gasol (15) Conley (8) Prince (7) $48M The perfect team
.
It is very similar with indiana
.
Hibbert (15) George/Granger (14) West ??? Hill (8)

This strategy is in contrast to the markets that can attract big free agents adn go over the tax like LAL with there $99M payroll this year.

Can the CORE5 Jazz team:
* become good enough at D like these teams? (Focus on players, not Corbin for a moment.)
* Who in the CORE5 will rise to the level of George or Randolph (who i think are the two closer/clutch players?)
..... The other key to the teams above is that the other C4 are all pretty good closers (i don't know Conley that well.)
* Memphis also has Tony Allen - paid $3 Million a year to be the best perimiter defender in the NBA -
....... will Eiffel Tower support that specialist role - we need one more athlete to be perimiter defender - can DMC ?
....... can Randy Foye provide the specialist role of shooter to spread floor (Eddie house, etc.)
...... what specialty is missing?
