Harden can score. There's no doubt about it, but he might be one of the worst defenders in he NBA. I want guys who will at least give a solid effort on defense, even if they're not very good at it.

Not to mention a bad teammate. Remember what Harden said of non-Dwight teammates?


"Dwight and I are the cornerstones of the Rockets. The rest of the guys are role players.".


You can't pay me to play with that kind of player.


The Rockets will never win a thing - book it.

LOL .. Duncan owned Aldridge x2 months ago in the Western Conference Sem-Final, taking the series 4-1.

And Dwight Howard has that same mentality. It's what made it so much fun to watch the Rockets shoot for a 3rd "star" this summer and FAIL miserably - costing them Chandler Parsons in the process - so much fun! I agree, that as long as they're counting on Howard and Harden to lead the team, they're going nowhere.

Duncan's still a stud, but projecting him to be great this upcoming season is folly IMO. I'm interested in seeing the team that you put together, simply because I'm not sure you'll have a true #1 option. That's just how I feel. Love the guy, and based on your arguments, I see why you took him. . . but I wouldn't have made that pick.

I wouldn't group LaMarcus Aldridge in the "me first" category. Frustrated and discouraged until they built up the rest of the team, but I've only ever seen him as a team first guy.

Yup you'll see. I don't just look at stats - I pick players who have good character, are team players, etc.


7 team's gonna get dropped out of this thing in the first round, if I'm gonna lose, I'd rather lose having players that I like on my team.

My bad. Thought I read players. Wasn't sure that Aldridge belonged in that group, while Melo, Dwight and Harden definitely do. And I'm a Melo fan. At least his teammates seem to like him - not so sure that guys like playing with Dwight and "The Beard" - especially after those recent comments. Nobody likes being called a role player even if they are one.
