Some things my team has and was designed for, FWIW:
-ample floor-spacing from three of my bigs, with two of them being elite shooting bigs.
-at least one good defensive big on the floor at all times, two if necessary (Gasol and Gobert are able to defend in space relative to their size).
-the pairing of Dirk and Marc would be very difficult to guard against. They can space the floor for each other, they're both more than capable in the post, or distributing. Marc is the eye of the storm in a sense as he's not probably going to be obviously creating all of the damage, but everything revolves around his unique combination of his skill-set and size.
-Every player on the perimeter can hit an open shot, and thus, would not be wise to cheat off of. Pairing that with the bigs' shooting and passing ability, there's an ocean of space for Burks and Iguodala (and Manu) to knife through the defense. That's why Burks and Iguodala are starting.
-the starting lineup features a lot of ball handlers that are either unselfish, effective scoring on the ball, or both. If there's a weak-point in the defense, I want to exploit it.
-a lot of versatility in skill-sets allows the team to tailor itself to a scenario, including shortening the rotation. Manu, Iguodala, and Burks can man the role of a PG well enough, which is why having one of the purest point guards was something I wanted at my disposal: to bring something they don't.
-every single player is a savvy and/or gritty mother-****er.
And positives are not honest without negatives:
My rebounding has potential to be suspect, my post defense from anyone not named "Marc" could be painful (except that there aren't a ton of guys making that damage these days).

Offensive philosophy
This team will play inside-out basketball, but can also get out in transition and run and finish strong at the rim. Inside scorers include Tim Duncan and David West who are proven post scorers, surrounded by quality clutch 3 point shooters to spread the floor (Thompson, Gordon, Pierce). There is plenty of passing with John Wall and Ty Lawson who each averages 8.8 assists per game last season. Playmakers all over the floor with Thompson, DeRozan, Gordon and Pierce happy to take the ball handling duty as well as hit the final shot.
In transition John Wall and Ty Lawson are arguably the fastest PGs in the league - DeRozen, Wall and Gordon are some of the best dunkers in the game and will finish at the rim with ease. These guys will be lighting quick down the floor and exciting to watch.
Defensive Philosophy
Tim Duncan and Tyson Chandler will anchor the defense in the starting lineup. Nothing more needs to be said about these 2 defensively. In the 2nd unit, Kevin Garnett will play the pivot and will organise the defensive strategy. His presence and intensity alone makes the team better defensively.
On the perimeter, John Wall is an athletic defender and is one of the best defensive PG in the league and averages nearly 2 steals per game.
Summary

While (the unnecessary but fair enough) trading phase is on, could we also do the lottery for who faces who or will it be firsts vs lasts kinda matchup?

PF: Anthony Davis
C: Roy Hbbert / Pecovic
Offense: Jazz style offense via Dwill/Booze era but with Anthony Davis on the main receiving end. D-Will/Hayward/Leonard all provide good 2nd-4th scoring options.
Defense: Basically no layups allowed with Davis and Hibbert while Leonard locks down other teams best player. Dwill still an above average positional defender and Hayward is average positional defender.
Bench: Green provides instant offense and athletic ability. Gary Neal provides additional shooting. Pekovic brings in more low post-offense.
*To keep Hibbert fresh, him and Pek will split minutes fairly evenly.
* Leonard can play PF to give Davis rest, moving Haywrd to the 3 and Green/Neal to SG for smaller lineups with more floor spacing.

My team is lead by my two star players, Harden, and Aldridge, two of the most dynamic offensive players in the league. Both will put immense pressure on the defense.
Harden is one of the best at getting to the rim and either finishing in traffic or getting to the ft line. Two years ago he averaged 10fts shot, and last year he got to the ft line 9 times a game. Harden also might be the best playmaking sg in the league, who also will score 25pts per game.
Aldridge can beat you inside and out, and has a variety of unstoppable offensive moves inside and out. Not many have a more deadly fadeaway from 15ft out then Aldridge. Also Aldridge can play both front court positions, adding more versatility to my team.
These are my two leaders, and they will play off of each other to perfection. You will see lots of pick,n roll with these two
THE REST OF MY TEAM:
Conley is one of the toughest most underrated pg's in the nba, though he is on the small side is one of the better defenders at pg. Also great at slashing and either finishing or dishing out for a wide open three, and must be respected on his outside shot. Parsons is also a great fit on this team as a sharp shooter. And knows how to play off of Harden, as they have been teammates in the past, and Favors is the anchor of the defense, and very proficient and pick'n roll offense.
BENCH:
While the first team is an offensive half court oriented team, the second unit is a faster paced with a great combo of defense and shooting and athletic ability. Smart although a rookie will be an absolute bully he's a great defender that will disrupt the flow of the other teams offense by harassing the other teams pg, and can bully most pg's offensively with post ups and driving all the way to the hoop. Afflalo is the catalyst of this unit, he can handle the ball some, a great mid range shooter and long-distance shooter. Afflalo can spot up or shoot on the move, or off his dribble. And one of the best defenders in the league, but let's not also forget he scored 18 points a game last year to go along with his great defense. And shot 42% from three. Valanciunas is my wild card. He's young and had a great season last year, and could be due for a break out year this year. Valanciunas is a physical specimen of a center very strong and athletic player who is tough for anyone to stop while being a good low post defender. Smith is one of the most athletic, and versatile players an absolute beast on the star sheet and on defense, and great shot blockers and help defender great dunker who can finish inside with the best of them, and can play both sf and pf. Gallinari very underrated 6-10 forward who plays both forward spots with ease. He's an underrated athlete, can put the ball on the floor, go inside, and stretch the floor with his outside shot and a decent defender.
