I think he can play *some* SF like Lamar Odom, but it's probably not ideal for extended minutes or certain matchups.

I think Exum could rise after this. Randle will fall and Vonleh and Smart will go before home. McDermott is really small, he'll fall quite a bit. Reminds me of jimmer confused about SF and PF.

Why would Randle fall? People were questioning if he was 6'9" - he is; they were saying he had a 6'11" wingspan - he's at 7'. If anything he looks better than he did before.

I agree. Randle is big enough to play PF where he can be an offensive mismatch. His stock should go up a little.

With Dimwiddle, Smart and Exum we have a bunch of really big PG prospects.

Funny how people think Aaron Gordon is a lock to play SF in the NBA, while Randle is pegged solidly at PF.


They have pretty much the same measurements. I would argue they have almost the same handle. While Gordon can't shoot or even score, Randle has shown the ability to take guys off the dribble and hit that mid-range, as well as make plays running the floor with ball in hand.

Dude, really? Randle is 250 and AG is 220.

For those mentioning Randle as SF, how many SFs are 250? LeBron? Randle basically has the exact body as Karl Malone - probably the most pototypical PF there has been, yet folks are saying Randle is undersized.

Michael Jordan measured 6'6" and 195 lbs. coming out of UNC. Obviously more explosive than Exum, but size/length is not an issue for Exum at SG.

Kobe Bryant was also 6'6" and under 200 lbs.

Randle's size is fine at the PF. His standing reach is 1/2" more than Blake Griffin. Doesn't have them hops though.

Smart at 6'3" with a 6'9"+ wingspan is impressive. The 227 isn't surprising - he's a monster, but he carries it well.

Also Kyle Anderson at close to 6'9" with the ability to play some point is solid.
