Trey Burke didn't have to wait his turn, and neither will Jabari.
Smart at 6'3" with a 6'9"+ wingspan is impressive. The 227 isn't surprising - he's a monster, but he carries it well.
Also Kyle Anderson at close to 6'9" with the ability to play some point is solid.
barefoot
randle 6ft 7 3/4
gordon 6ft 7 1/2
smart 6ft 2
exum 6ft 4 1/2
basically i was right on all of them except gordon. i predicted gordon to be 6ft 7 even ish. gordon came in tall. bravo. i'll take any of these guys except smart. trey & smart would be smallest backcourt in the league. i don't like small back court
the Dwight Howard Derrick Favors comparisons remind me of this. They have virtually the same measurables, as far as height, length, vertical jump are concerned. But is as clear as day that Favors is no where near Dwight when it comes to in game explosiveness. He's not getting his head up near the rim, hes not even close to as quick a jumper. Combine results are less than ideal when it comes to measuring athletic ability.

Also I will never understand why anybody posts barefoot height numbers. The NBA lists their height with shoes and they play in shoes - or at least I've never seen a guy play in a Nba game barefoot.

Marcus Smart measured 6'2" and 227.2 lbs at #NBACombine. He's the heaviest player at 6' 2" or shorter in NBA Combine history.
Bloody freakin' hell; if he's going to draft a top-5 player and sit him on the bench, then I'll be leading the torch and pitchfork mob. Why did he just get rid of Corbin if the plan is to lather, rinse and repeat?
And why are they interviewing McDermott? There's likely no way to jump up from #23 to get him. Is there a plan in place to trade back? Or to take him at #7 if they fall that far?
With this and the coaching search., Lindsey has made my "watch" list. Seems like he's headed in the wrong direction.
