2014 NBA Playoffs: 2nd Round

Calderon is far and beyond the worse defender, yet Tony didn't really 'abuse' the Mavericks until game 7.

Tim Duncan has looked visibly aged this series. I'm sure Wes will be glued to Parker.

I say Portland wins the series.

Did you watch San Antonio trying to contain Monte Ellis & Devin Harris?

Then who will be? Splitter? Diaw? You really think that they can contain LA?.

uhuh

just to be clear:

If you can play two guards who can attack the rim and play smart in the PnR, then you are going to beat Portland in a 7-game series. Lillard's heroics have distracted people from the fact that he's definitely a below-average defender. He was getting creamed by picks all game long.

Last night it was Parker. Manu will have his game(s).

Chris Paul is so good.

...yeah, he's so good they had some numbnut announcer and ex-player (hip hop type guy I think) claim he is the best there ever is/was....better than even Magic Johnson....and they never even mentioned John Stockton! Thus, from now on, I hope CP3 crashes and burns!

How dare someone be so good that they start to get mentioned among the all time greats at their position!!! The nerve!

...after 6-8 years? This guy has been hurt a couple of them.....has never won a playoff series until this year.....and is so far behind in points, assists and steals to both players that yeah, he SHOULD NOT be mentioned in a sentence with either Stockton or Johnson!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that's false.

Oooh, coming to conclusions after 1 game in the season!!! How intelligent. Should I proclaim Hibbert as Shaq after his game tonight?

Nice try. I'm not drawing conclusions after one game. I've been watching the Spurs for years, and I've been watching Lillard since his last year at Weber State. It's called a prediction... ya know, where you look at the available evidence... and then say what will happen.

bookmark my comments. I'd be happy to see them later.

Makes you seem hella petty by bumping my posts after a single game tho. W/e, your call.

And I really dgaf about bumping your posts to see if you're wrong afterwards. I'll let you chase the meaningless "TOLDUSO" victories on teh JFC

FWIW Indiana winning after Hibbert regains composure.

Prove em wrong, Roy. #RoyForFinalsMVP
