Yeah, but Miami isn't as good as they were then either. They're more experienced obviously, but I do think they're a tad worn out.
I still think Miami would win, but I think it would take them more games than it did the last time.
I disagree, here's why:
Wade is healthier than before. Yes he's older. But he doesn't look broken like he has the past few years. Limited in minutes? Sure. So then they can unleash him when they need to.
Ray Allen still can shoot. Cole, Chalmers, and Birdman are fine. And Lebron knows how to win.
I think a Miami OKC final would be over in 4-5. OKC just doesn't have strengths that can puncture miami's weaknesses. Such as post defense. Miami is vulnerable to a big man. Ibaka is a jump shooter and Perkadamcollison suck.
I think if the Clippers ever got smart and used John Paul and Karl Griffin the way they're supposed to and not just let the role players chuck away they could win. Seriously, if Malone in his prime faced: Bosh and Birdman, what would he average? 40 and 10? 50 and 15? Bosh would be obliterated within 5 mins of the game. They'd have to use Udonis, Oden, and Bron on mailman. He would injure Oden, shoot over udonis, and mess up Lebron's headband.
I just don't understand why the clipps are letting Crawford and co cast away. Blake should be given the ball on the block every single time down the court.
The spurs? Another 6-7 game tossup.
You gotta have a big to beat Miami. Indy has hibbert/west. Wash has nene/Gortat. Spurs have Duncan. Clipps got griffin/Jordan. And the thunder have a 7 foot SG and a bunch of garbage d league players.
