2015 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

My thoughts were peak season to peak season, which is really what this game is about, they are not that far off. And anyone alongside LBJ is going to elevate his game. So Carter + LBJ is not that far off of Wade anyway. Plus I get a glut of picks before the next huge drop-off in talent level.

And hell it is all for fun anyway. Wait until you see my next 2 picks.

Yeah I'm good with the trade. I can see how both you guys benefitted from it.

Fair trade IMO.

For me, Wade was over drafted and Carter was under drafted. Still not sure LogGrad got enough, but I can see why he'd want to team a shooter like Carter with LeBron. Think voters would have liked the tandem that went to 4 strait Finals, but to each his own.

Another way I look at it, when you have a guy who is spoken of in the same breath as Jordan, and put in a tier almost by himself, you surround him with people that let him do his best work. Carter was a defensive monster in his day at the 2, and hit the 3 at a 40% clip. Not much better out there when you are looking for a 3 and D guy. So even head to head, Carter kind of negates Wade, and then LBJ can just take over. With this squad LBJ can easily average a triple double without breaking a sweat. Important for the only superstar in history who got so tired he had to lay down on the court.

And if you look at the last half of last season you see that Love and LBJ were really starting to mesh well. I think they will be a much more formidable duo in the upcoming season, and it would have been a different finals series of Love had been able to play.

With the 72nd pick I'm gonna go with...

Paul George

Thanks, One Love.

It's funny because I sent him my top-3 players when Thee was up after the Westbrook pick and it was:

1. Rodman
2. McGrady
3. English

And all three went in the next four picks.
