2015 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

This. Bad cases of recency bias here.

I am not denying that the current (say since 2000) crop of NBA players are, as a group, better athletes and better physical specimens. But Wilt averaged OVER 48 minutes PER GAME for an ENTIRE SEASON, while leading the league in all kinds of stats in a very fast-paced offense. I have a hard time seeing anyone do that nowadays. They always talk about resting players, letting them sit out games, coasting into the playoffs. And when Wilt played it was nearly a contact sport, it was not easy and happy and "oh you brushed his shirt, that's a foul". He played against Bill Russell one of the toughest bruisers to play the game. Yes our current crop are probably better athletes than the average player in Wilt's day but there is no denying that individuals from that day could stand the test of time and easily play in today's NBA. There is no denying that Wilt was a physical specimen far ahead of his time.

We're not even 4 rounds deep and you're already scared making excuses for your team? Lol jk......part of this type of deal is to sell your team since there is no real way of knowing who the best is.

Nah Wilt's not on my team. I wouldn't want him...ballhog and all that. And he is out of touch in today's NBA, where everyone is faster stronger smarter and more evolutionarily advanced.

Wilt was the 7 foot version of LeBron (as far as athleticism goes), can you imagine him running the floor in todays game and setting a high pick n roll and exploding towards the rim?

lol. Thanks for the free hyping of my player. And for the record I was dumb founded when Wilt happened to fall into my lap at 10. I was getting ready to draft mr triple double. Wanted to play him and Stockton together but when Wilt was still there I would've been a fool not to draft him.

Anybody interested in Iverson?

It was one of those things where I picked who I thought was BPA, I really didn't know which direction I wanted to go with my team, but now I do.

PM me if interested.

I'd love to take him off your hands but he's not a good fit next to Stockton don't want my guard line at 6-0 and 6-1 respectively or I would've

I changed my mind already, I'm not going to get the value that I want for him anyways.

Aiight gang, it's 1:00 am here. The temp is about 78 (it started to rain, cooled things down, thank Jeebus). Time for sleep. I will check in again tomorrow. Good night!

Says the guy who drafted Lebron 3rd, and Wade in the 20s ;)

Actually fits my post exactly. You have to have the current good players to win the vote.
