2015 NBA Playoffs

It's funny how much people hate the cavs, that they convince themselves they see something completely opposite of the way it happened. Horford dragged him down and then delivered an intentional elbow, and yet some people are determined to twist it around. Sad.

I think you've got Stevie Wonder disease! We all got eyes! There was no malicious intent whatsoever by Horford! If there was ANY malicious intent it was the Australian kid purposely trying to role Horfords knee! So why did the kid get a technical? Hey, the Hawks were going to get swept anyway, but this was a sadly pathetic call/ruling and that's the way I.....and millions of other saw it!

Horford or Gibson didn't have to retaliate though - they took the wrong route.

...neither was much of a retaliation! Gibson was just trying to shake free from that leg scissors and Horford was trying to protect himself from a "kamikaze" career ending knee injury! This kid is going to get his clock cleaned by someone and THAT will be a real flagrant foul 2, and it might be sooner than later!

Looking at the replay again this morning....that little puke was nowhere near going for the ball when he tried to roll Horford's knee! Also, the report is the refs gave him a tech because they felt there was INTENT to injure Horford on purpose! I suspect at 8 am this morning a "contract" was put out on this kid....before he tries to take out Curry in the Finals!

No-one can convince me that what Dellavedova did to Kyle Korver isn't intentional. So yes when I saw the Horford incident my first thought was Dellavedova is a ****ty human being.

This is an understandable initial reaction, but when you watch the angle posted above which clearly shows Horford dragging Dellavedova down you need to reassess.

Carolina is blind. He is seeing only what he wants to see.

...anyone with EYES saw what I saw! NO FLAGRANT 2 foul should have been called! Oh, wait!.....3 numbnut refs on the floor and having the ability to check the replay saw that as a flagrant foul 2??? Pathetic reffering if there ever was!

I don't have to rely on the opinion of the officials in this case because the video evidence is irrefutable. Only a person who is committed to their preconceived biases rather than the truth could see this incident the way that you are.

...he's an untalented puke! Can't his a jump shot to save his neck! Only thing he's got going for him is he's tattoo-less....I think! If he covers Curry in the Finals, he'll get lit up for 50 a game!

Shot 40% from 3 on the year - that's pretty good. Curry probably would.....but it would still be a fun matchup. You'd think you would at least admire Delly's brains since you always say that's missing in the NBA. Most pests are pretty basketball smart. He's gritty, tough, clutch. Not the most physically talented guy and needs to work on his mid-range game to go to the next level.....but there's a lot to like there. I wish he was on the Jazz.

As if Mike Budenholzer being outcoached by LeBron James wasn't bad enough already, Kyle Korver is now out for the rest of the playoffs. The 2015 Cavaliers have had the easiest road to the Finals in NBA history.

If the Warriors win tonight I officially declare these conference finals terrible.

... Alright, let me spoonfeed my point to you: My post has nothing to do with the Cavs themselves. Absolutely nothing. Read that sentence until it sinks, then move on to the next paragraph.

The Celtics/Bulls/Hawks, as those teams were, was an extremely weak path to the Finals, even by Eastern conference standards. That is it. That is my whole point. And let me again add for emphasis: I am only commenting on the path itself. My point has nothing to do with the team that underwent that path.

My bad. Thanks for spoonfeeding me. Now that I read it again, it makes complete sense to complain about how easy the path has been while ignoring the fact that Cleveland is missing 2 of their best players. GREAT point.

I think that was the first reaction of the majority, and understandable. What isn't understandable is to do what blind man CJ is doing. You have to have an agenda if you can watch that video and still keep on about Dellavedova trying to roll a knee.

... you cannot be this slow. The whole point of the post was to illustrate the wide discrepancy between the East and the West in general. Apparently you didn't read the sentence "My post has nothing to do with the Cavs themselves" enough times.

See, I can understand mis-interpreting the post the first time around, which is why I clarified it for that other poster exactly two posts after the post you pasted:

I meant in terms of their competition, not relative to the strength of their own team. And I'd say the fact that they're getting by so easily without Love and Kyrie actually highlights even further how weak of a road this is.

The guy who first brought up the Cavs injuries was correct - it did obviously make the path tougher for the Cavs specifically. So I wanted to clear up that I wasn't talking about how difficult it was for the Cavs, I was just talking about how weak it was, period, relative to most paths, regardless of who is actually going through that path.

Him I forgive for misunderstanding, because I didn't make it clear in the first post. But you, who saw my post clarifying everything, and who also had the benefit of having it spoonfed to you... I don't know what else to tell you.
