Internal growth from their own guys and a few smart trades to bring in vets to win it all. Then you have big name FAs come to you in the off season to win more and try and make a dynasty.

At least Cleveland didn't need 4 All Stars on their team to have to try and win it though.


Also they tanked hard that year and stole our pick that turned to Harrison Barnes and jump start their rise.


I guess you forgot about that.

I didn't forget about that. Jazz have tanked multiple years to get to where they are now. I mean LeBrons teams have always had 3 all Stars. I guess 4 is the tipping point? Also GS didn't have 4 or 3 all Stars the year they won it all.

Well they stole that pick from us and that hurts. When people steal from me I don't tend to like them very much.

Only player ever to lead both finals teams in points, rebounds and assists, and he's done it twice. Should have won finals MVP as the loser a couple years ago when Iggy won it. Lots of people don't like him, but when their dislike turns in to some narrative about how MJ was way better or LeBron did the same thing as KD, it's just something dumb to say out of personal bias.

Did they steal from us when we let Alsap walk for nothing, too? Everybody knows the rules and everybody knows that teams tank when they are out of contention for the playoffs. The fact that Utah decided to try and make the playoffs with a critically flawed team and a inevitable rebuild around the corner was just bad management on Utah's part. Actually, terrible management.
 
I have decided I want the warriors to destroy the Cavs. That way the jazz's loss won't look so bad.

But it also would make the Celtics seem that much worse, since they got blown out by the Cavs. So I think it helps rather than hurts Hayward's chances of returning to Utah.
