I'd take him too because as good as Gobert is, he has a lot of holes in his game.

If you can get a seven footer that can play 70% of the defense Gobert plays but can score in the post and average 18 a night, you move on from Gobert.

I'm sure he can go beyond 5 feet. He just never had to at Utah, because he could score at will in the post. No one could stop him down there and was crazy proficient in the post.

Once the NBA finalizes the participant list, teams then vote for the prospects they would like to interview.

Teams can only select 30 players and must place an A, B or C grade based on preference. Out of the 30, 18 players will be selected.

Teams often pick prospects to interview that fall outside of their draft range.

A team like the Clippers, who have picks Nos. 25 and 33, should focus on players whose range is in the top 15. With the challenge of getting lottery prospects to commit to a draft visit, the combine interview will be the only time for a one-on-one visit...

Interviews start on Wednesday afternoon (2 p.m.-8 p.m. ET) with a shorter time frame on Thursday and Friday morning (8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. ET)
The process is intimidating for prospects, beginning with the room.
The hotel furniture is removed and replaced with a circular table with a note pad and hotel pens. The space looks more like an interrogation room than a hotel room.

ESPN will be broadcasting from the combine. In the past it was the talking heads yakking it up while basketball players did drills in the background. I could only see it scheduled for Thursday and Friday on ESPN2 from 1 to 5 pm MTN.

Chad Ford: Buddy Hield won’t be at Combine on Thur/Fri. Graduating this weekend. Doing interviews, medical & measurements today. But no athletic test.

Kay Felder (5'8.25") + Tyler Ullis (5'8.75") are unofficially the only players under 6' (w/o shoes) at '16 combine.

I might run a correlation test of body fat% to All-Star selections or even draft position.
