2016 NBA Season Notes/Info

Brad Stevens loves Marcus Smart. if you love competitor who leaves it all out on the floor every night, you love Marcus Smart. Stevens gets it.

Ben Simmons’ regularly scheduled foot scan at the Hospital of Special Surgery in New York on Monday showed he has healed and everything is fine, according to the 76ers.

The Sixers' first overall pick in June’s NBA draft could make his debut in late February or early March.

Simmons suffered a Jones fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot on Sept. 30, the final day of training camp. He had surgery in October. The 6-foot-10 point guard has been doing some work with the team and returning at the team’s practice facility at night to work on his shooting.

Nice to see Malachi Richardson playing and playing well. I was one of the first on the Richardson bandwagon.

That makes two 50 point triple-doubles this season for Harden (first player ever to have two in a season), and one for Westbrook. To put things in perspective, Kareem was the last player to have one, and that was clear back in 1973.

This is truly an amazing MVP race.

Ok, but to be honest with you I couldn't care less who wins and can't bring myself to cheering for either.

They're just not likeable guys IMO.
