lol at you thinking that Jrue will shut down whole bench. He is not defending Saric and Jonas who will have a field day in the paint vs this pathetic bench while Hood and Bazemore will rain threes on them. He maybe the best player but he won't outscore them alone.

Based on what? Based on stats Jonas is the second best player and Saric is close third. Ingram would be 4th. Bazemore, Hood and Joseph round it up. Maker, Amir and Young are absolute trash.

Maker has been a defensive ace in every playoff series he has played in (2).

Based on stats last year (which is what this voting is based on) Ingram compared to Saric and Jonas. Ingram scored more points, had a lot more assists, had more steals, had the 2nd most blocks and barely less than Jonas, and got the the FT line the most. Those two did out rebound him, but that should happen when they play those positions. They also shot a slightly better 3 point percentage than him. Those other 2 do have some better advanced stats but that is expected when they were 3rd/4th or lower most important players on their teams with winning records.

But Ingram is a better scorer, creator, and passer than those other 2.

It is a little hard to compare since they all play different positions and roles on their teams. I am okay with an argument of them being about the same.

Also Hood was complete garbage in the playoffs and unplayable. He is in the trash pile. Ill take Nick Young and Amir Johnson on my team last year in the playoffs over Hood. Thon Maker played pretty solid in the playoffs on defense.

Plus there is the fact that in a playoff matchup most of these guys wont see the court. Elans team would go to a 7-8 man rotation. Ill take Elan roster being better at 4 of the starter spots and the first 2 guys off the bench. So of the 7 he is better at 5 or 6 of those.

Also on a side note. How about Lebron and making it to the finals?

While I think Jonas is a better player than Maker the advanced stats you just posted show that in the playoffs Maker had a defensive rating, offensive box +/-, defensive box +/-, the same Vorp, and the same defensive win shares.

he is slightly better defender ( mostly at help defense) than Jonas but their offensive game is not comparable.

He as well had significantly worse TS%, FT%, WS, OWS, DWS, BPM and PER and much higher TO's while playing the most minutes. If you look at per 100 pos, or per 36 minute stats he gets surpassed in pretty much everything but ast. Plus he played on a losing team and in a lot of garbage stat padding minutes while other two played for Top 1 and Top 3 teams in the East.
 
The fact that this matchup is tied is clear indication that those teams are very evenly matched. I admit at first I though Ellis is winning this easily but I do see some arguments for Elan as well. I just do not think that team, personalities and chemistry would mesh very well. Just seems like a mess. Not sure even how effective Mitchell would be with Wall and Barnes dominating the ball.... plus Griffin needs the ball as well. I just feel teamwork, screening, passing and cohesiveness would be better on Ellis team

Its funny that it is allowed for the owner of the team to vote for their own teams. Has anybody every was fair and voted for opponent team when it is quite obvious?

I voted for WM due to Hayward in my starting line up lol also one year I voted for Ellis when his team was clearly better than mine.

Wouldn't voting for someone else's team be like shooting the ball in your opponent's basket? Just seems counter to why you're competing in the first place. You don't do that even if the other team is clearly better.

This is the take I disagree with. The way I see it is Wall being the primary facilitator and DM being the #1 option. Im not sure why you'd assume Barnes and Griffin would be ball dominant in this line up, the back court is too dominant to have these 2 taking up too many possessions. DM is blowing by Ingles and creating for Barnes and Griffin when the help comes. Turner is also a great screen setter so Wall and DM have someone to help create that advantage, he can also draw Rudy out of the paint.

I dont think either team is super well-constructed, but your's is definitely better in terms of fit. He has Aaron Gordon as a SF next to two non-shooting bigs.
