Players like Mitchell will outdo the performance of the Boris Diaw and Shelvin Mack types from the previous season, mind you.

It'll be interesting to see what happens-- will we let George go, and roll out with Dante/Mitchell/Hood/Hayward/Ingles/Favors/Rudy as our core more or less?? Or will we double down and go for a True or George Hill while trying to shore up Gordon?

Either way, with Donovan Mitchell here we really need to somehow get Alec Burks the hell off of this team. I have trouble figuring out how we do that without taking back some mega contract, sigh.

Rookies take time to develop. He will show flashes but I doubt he actually contributes to winning. Either way it does not do anything to convince Hayward to stay.
