I can understand Exum's frustration, but if it's directed at the team, it's misguided.
Obviously he's not where anyone would have hoped, the ACL tear in Year 2 was basically worst possible timing. And frankly, he sucked for a good part of the season - Quin was absolutely justified playing Neto or Mack over him at time. Hopefully when he takes a step back after the season he'll realize that.
Mack is gone, and Neto is the 3rd PG next season, so next year will be Dante's time. I hope he gets at least 28mpg, regardless of whether or not George is back. i think he'll be ready to take the leap.
How was it justified I wonder?
Clearly getting sweeped in the 2nd round wasn't worth sacrificing Dante's development? Unless of course there were two priorities at play:
1) convincing Hayward that the team can win now
2) Jazz have lowered their expectations for X
