2018 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

Magic and Kareem outside of the top-10 are steals. I don’t care how you spin it.

Up to you I suppose, but I personally feel most of the guys from ~ #4 to #25 are on similar enough level that you can justify any of them based off the team you want to build. The only players I'd call steals at #11 are Shaq/LeBron/MJ.

Umm, alright.

Lol that really doesn’t make any sense. You can’t really make any case for Pippen, Wade, Dirk, Kawhi, Garnett, Barkley, AD, West, etc. to be in the top-10 let alone top-5.

Pippen is a bit of a special case, drafted so early for being one of the top #2/#3 guys, not for himself being a top 10 worthy guy (same with Stockton imo). The rest of them, I'd be fine with someone drafting that high.

If I recall, Spy works all day and can’t use his phone, so get out your snickers bars if you have them.

Oscar Robertson is crazy overrated because of his triple doubles.

Dude had a size/athleticism advantage in his era that he simply wouldn’t have in this age. Tyreke Evans would have done the same **** if you transported him back to the 60’s.

Not to mention his per possession stats aren't special at all

Projecting older players I like to think how they would fare with today's conditioning, coaching. His stats obviously won't be as good but I can imagine Robertson playing in this era.

With time-machine thinking lots of legends wouldn't be able to play in modern NBA.

Good approach. Also how they would feel about the game of basketball as a commercialized sports that has Michael Jordan and others as heroes to take as role models and spend everyday on court since childhood to grow as a ball wizard would make a big difference too. Who you modelize growing up affects a major deal. Oscar was in a leauge of bigmen. Jordan has risen from the paradigm of players like David Thompson and Julius Erving and Kobe & Lebron from Jordan. Now the Celtic rookie Jayson Tatum and Simmons from Lebron and Mitchell from Wade and Ball from his dad and so on...
