No!! Part of what made Magic great was the stacked roster around him IMO. Both Malone and Stockton are badly underrated not just by everyone else but this fan base as well. Jazz always had scraps behind the core of Stockton Malone and Horny.

What made you say IMO is the feeling inside you that was telling you that you were reaching. Magic is on another level as a basketball player. Different game types though. If you are looking for toughness and insane scoring, Malone is your guy.

It does depend on the team. But if I am building a team and I have a first choice between the two I am picking Magic every time without a second thought.

Just waiting for the backlash. I just think that Malone and Stockton carried that team further then they ever should’ve. The lack of talent was criminal beyond the big three, and even Horny was just a shell of his former self. Put Malone Malone and Stockton on those Laker teams, obviously taking Magic and Kareem off and Malone has a much bigger name then he has now. He’s on the level of the best ever. Not saying he’s as good or better but he’s in the conversation of a magic or bird, and the others.

Are we going to try an all time draft with no current players at some point? I think it would be fun to do an all 90’s draft. I consider that the greatest collection of talent of any era.
