Plays better defense, gets more double doubles, misses less games, is more efficient, has a greater effect on the offense and defense of his team......

Embiid is a center who shoots 48% from the field btw. He shoots 30% from 3. He needs to stop shooting 3's. I wouldn't even guard him. He is quite a bit worse shooter than Rubio.

I don’t disagree with the fact that he needs to shoot less 3’s. But some of what you said is silly. Double doubles are completely arbitrary and mean next to nothing. So far as having a greater impact on offense and defense, I don’t know. Maybe he does. But Embiid also has a massive effect on both.

All this said, barring injuries, there are no excuses for why the Jazz shouldn’t win 55+ games then. Or why Gobert shouldn’t have his best year—I think he will. But yeah...none. We have shooters. This should help Gobert and everyone on the floor.

Tbh - don’t really care who wins this one because I don’t like how either team is constructed. Don’t personally think either team that advances makes it past the next round. There’s been better teams that have already been eliminated - think this was the lucky draw in the tournament.

You say that what I said is silly and double doubles are silly..... Well so is saying gobert rebounds less when embiid averages 14.6 per 36 and gobert averages 14.5 per 36.

I agree 100%. No one on my team, aside from Wade, is an All-Time Top 5 in his position. Gandalfe's team has much more talent, but very poor chemistry. I'm banking on Kidd being the floor general to hold it together, along with a few other solid dudes who only cared about winning.
